Visit by Foreign Delegates to the School of Management

An academic delegation from the University of 365体育投注 Florida, (USF), USA visited SOM on 4th December 2015. The delegation consisted of Dr Ralph Wilcox, Provost and Executive Vice President, University of 365体育投注 Florida, USA, Dr Moez Limayem, Dean – Muma College of Business, USF and Ms. Aruna Dasgupta, Country Advisor for USF, India.
They met Dr. Raveendranath Nayak, the Director of SOM and MBA-Global Business Co-ordinator Prof. Chetana B Maddodi. They discussed on collaborative engagements between Muma College of Business, USF and SOM, including student exchange, Faculty exchange, joint research and strategic partnership.
It has been agreed that the MBA students of SOM, would be able to pursue one or two terms in the University of 365体育投注 Florida.
Dr. Ed Weymes, Vice President (365体育投注), UW & Associate Dean (365体育投注), WMS, University of Waikato, New Zealand visited the SOM on 5th December 2015.
He met Dr. Raveendranath Nayak the Director of SOM and MBA-Global Business Co-ordinator Prof. Chetana Maddodi.
They had a discussion on prospective academic collaborations between the Waikato Management School and SOM. Following the discussions, the MBA students of SOM would be able to pursue one or two terms in the Waikato Management School. Dr. Ed Weymes also assured Dr. Nayak that a faculty member from Waikato Management School would be visiting SOM to deliver MBA courses.
