The Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry, 365体育投注 College of Dental Sciences, Mangalore celebrated Children’s Day on 14th November 2023.
The program for Children’s Day consisted of

·?????? Dental Health Education for Children and Parents
·?????? Free Dental Check up
·?????? Free Topical Fluoride Application
·?????? Distribution of Oral Health Booklets
·?????? School Dental Health Educational Program
The Children’s Day program had child patients undergoing dental treatment at the Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry, MCODS, Mangalore accompanied by their parents. The children with age varying from 3-11 years actively participated in drawing competition with great enthusiasm. The theme for the competition was “Superheroes also need to brush”. The dental health educational talk to the parents was well appreciated. The valedicatory event of the programme was graced by the Dean, Dr. Ashita Uppoor who appreciated the concept behind the programme and the drawings by the children. Associate Deans Dr. Junaid Ahmed and Dr. Arathi Rao were also present. Prizes and gifts were distributed to children by the dignitaries. Dr. Suprbha BS rendered the vote of thanks. Dr. MedhaShree (PG student) was the Master of Ceremonies (MC).
The program was organized by the Postgraduate Students of the Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry, 365体育投注 College of Dental Sciences, Mangalore under the guidance of all the faculty, with Dr. Anupama and Dr. Charisma taking the lead.?
