?A Day of Learning in the Marketplace! ??

On February 24, 2025, Semester VI students from the Marketing Communication Specialization of the BA Journalism and Mass Communication program at DLHS, MAHE Bengaluru embarked on an insightful field trip to three distinct types of marketplaces!

The day included visits to: 1?? APMC Market at Doddaballapura ? (Agricultural Produce) 2?? Mass Market at Yelahanka ?? 3?? Phoenix Mall of Asia ? (Modern Retail)

Under the guidance of Dr. Amrita Chakraborty, PhD, Associate Professor at DLHS, the students conducted a comparative analysis as part of their ‘Promotion and Retail’ course. Through the study, they explored various retail strategies such as customer loyalty programs, pricing techniques, and promotional techniques to assess market dynamics.

3. To identify customer loyalty programmes.
4. To assess store locations and proximities.
