On March 8, 2025, the 2nd-year BA History students of DLHS embarked on a fascinating journey to Srirangapatna, delving into the historic last decades of 18th century Mysore, Tipu Sultan, and the Fourth Anglo-Mysore War.
From Dariya Daulat Bagh to the Obelisk at the fort breach, the Dungeon where enemies were imprisoned, and finally to the Gumbaz where Tipu Sultan rests with his parents—the immersive storytelling by Dr. Harsha Vardhana brought history to life!
A peaceful visit to the Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple and the beautiful Cauvery River made the day truly unforgettable.
